After School/Half Days Program 2023-2024
About our Program:
As the new Pembroke Community Center nears completion, we will once again host the Recreation After School program at Bryantville Elementary School for the upcoming 2023-2024 School year.
To register for the entire school year, families will need to register for the August Program, the Full Program, and the June program. Due to system limitations, we needed to set registration up this way to avoid overcharging and credits.
Pembroke Recreation's After School Program offers a safe, fun environment for children in grades kindergarten through sixth to enjoy after the school day. Children participate in sports, arts & crafts, board games, air hockey and more! Children in the "Homework Club" work on their homework for an hour every day.
The children also enjoy the outdoors at the Bryantville courts, ball fields, and playground.
Single Day participation will NOT be available!
Transportation from Pembroke Public Schools must be coordinated by the parent/guardian registering the child. You must fill out and submit an “Alternate Bus Request” form to Lori Jacobs, Pembroke Public School’s Transportation Coordinator.
A $30 registration fee per child is required in order to sign-up for the After School program. Please register for all the dates you want to sign-up for in advance to secure placement.
The After School program is a self-funded program meaning that the revenue generated pays for the staff salaries, all supplies & equipment. Our goal is to keep the cost reasonable and affordable for all. A 30 day notice is required for cancellations.
There will be no credits or refunds given on any accounts due to a child being absent from the After School program. If your child is absent of an extended period of time due to illness a doctor's note must be presented to request a credit or refund.
The Rec provides 2 types of payment: Monthly and Weekly
Monthly cost: $225.00 a month (which includes half days).
All payments are due on the 16th of each month for the next month enrollment. Delinquent participants will be assessed a $20 late fee per child for each month the account is delinquent. Payments can be made online by credit card or debit card; payments by cash or check will be accepted in the office.
*Multi-Child Discount: Second child discount $180.00/month with the monthly option only.
Families are still required to pay the $30.00 registration fee for each child.
*August: All participants must register for individual days.
September: Due before August 16th
October: Due before September 16th
November: Due before October 16th.
December: Due before November 16th
January: Due before December 16th
February: Due before January 16th
March: Due before February 16th
April: Due before March 16th
May: Due before April 16th
*June: All participants must register for individual days.
**Weekly Cost: $85.00 per week and pro-rated for weeks that are less than five days (Half days are included).
All payments for weekly participants are due the Friday of the preceding week. Delinquent participants will be assessed a $20 late fee per child for each week the account is delinquent. Payments can be made online by credit card or debit card; payments by cash or check will be accepted in the office.
